Allyson B. Ralls is a member of Dempsey & Kingsland, P.C.’s tort litigation practice with an emphasis in medical malpractice and personal injury.
Allyson graduated from the University of Missouri—Kansas City School of Law in 2021. Academic excellence has always been a priority for Allyson. Prior to law school, Allyson graduated Summa Cum Laude from Missouri State University with a degree in Political Science. Throughout every semester of her undergraduate and law school career, Allyson was on the Dean’s List. She also became a member of UMKC’s chapter of Phi Delta Phi, an international legal honor society.
While in law school, she was a member of several competition teams, including the National Moot Court Team. Allyson received the John L. Sheridan Award for best oralist in the Ellison Moot Court competition and the Moot Court Board Award. Allyson also served as a board member for the law school’s Animal Law Society in her second and third year.
Additionally, Allyson maintained a number of internships while in school. Most notably, Allyson served as a law clerk for the US Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Missouri—Kansas City, in the appellate division. After her internship with the US Attorneys Office, Allyson gained Rule 13 certification by the Missouri Supreme Court which allowed for her to practice law as a student under the supervision of an attorney. With this certification, Allyson performed an oral argument in a pro bono adult adoption case before the Eastern District Court of Appeals in Missouri.
